2026 Annual Meeting Recap, Minutes & Breed Show Results

Members of the Great Lakes Chapter gathered once again for our 2026 Annual Meeting, Breed Show and banquet on Saturday, February 28th, 2026 at the American Legion Hall in Wanatah, IN

This year’s event provided an excellent opportunity for members from across the region (and beyond) to connect, evaluate outstanding dogs, and celebrate the accomplishments of our handlers and breeders. The day began with the chapter’s annual Zuchtschau (breed show), followed by the Annual Meeting, where members discussed the future of the chapter and upcoming events. The Chapter raised a lot of money and the dinner was excellent.

Breed Show (Zuchtschau)

The day began with the chapter’s annual Zuchtschau, where Deutsch-Drahthaars were evaluated for conformation and coat quality according to VDD standards.

The quality of dogs presented reflected the continued dedication of breeders and handlers in our group. Spectators and exhibitors enjoyed a competitive and educational evaluation of several excellent dogs.
