Medina, OH VJP Test Results (March 22 & 23, 2025)

The 2025 Medina VJP was a good opportunity for handlers to show their dogs natural abilities.
Stephen Rogers was the test coordinator and put together great grounds again this year. The privately owned 80-acre rabbit club provided ample opportunities for the young dogs to show their tracking skills. The owner was excited to see the young dogs work on his property. He thanked our group for helping trim brush lines at the GLC workday on January 11th coordinated by Stephen.
The bird fields were located at Hill N Dale Sportsman club. The fields had plenty of cover and a nice breeze for the pointing work. Stephen was also able to secure a house on the grounds for the judges to stay and as an end of day meeting place to eat lunch and go over test results. Stephen’s wife Dana prepared lunch for the group each day.
Both days went smoothly with all of the dogs having ample opportunity to show their natural ability. The seasoned and first-time handlers all did a good job.
Thank you, Rich German and Scott Jordan, for coming in to judge our dogs. Thanks too Ryan Clester, Pete Pavick and George Scheuermann for being our field marshals. George took some amazing pictures during the weekend. Also, Thanks Stephen Rogers for Coordinating everything.
