Belding, Michigan VJP Test Results (April 17 & 18, 2021)
What a weekend for our third and final spring puppy test of 2021.
Not only did we have a VJP happening but, on Saturday, we also had a 17 dog Breed Show and, later in the evening, our Chapter's Annual Meeting.
There were plenty of trucks in the parking lot, judges, spectators, handlers and Drahthaar's in Belding that day.
This test was held at Scott Brosier's Pine Hill Kennel "Big Prairie" game preserve property in Belding, Michigan. The grounds were excellent, with plenty of room to plant birds and plenty of rabbits to track. We had a total of 9 dogs that weekend and all passed.
The test director, coordinator and judges all did an excellent job and we had great weather both days. It was great to see judges Barry Pickens and Bill English out. Both men were early chairmen of our Chapter and very much helped our club and the VDD-GNA succeed in the early years.
The weekend ran smoothly and on time. The judges explained the scoring for all handlers and answered all questions. Our gracious host even provided excellent, catered BBQ both days
Plenty of room for field work at the "Big Prairie" preserve.
Beautiful weather both Saturday and Sunday
