Corona 2020 Tracking Test Announced in Plymouth, Indiana
Let's get these puppies tested!
The Great Lakes Chapter will hold a Tracking Solution test at the St. Joseph Valley Beagle Club in Plymouth, Indiana on May 30 and 31, 2020. Details can be found on the VDD-GNA test calendar (member login required).
We anticipate this test will be very popular locally and encourage everyone who needs to test a puppy to contact Test Director Shane Deford to register.
The Tracking Solution test replaces the spring puppy tests (VJPs) that were canceled due to Corona virus. The test will evaluate only tracking and gun sensitivity. Details and rules are available in the original Corona 2020 post. Remember, this test is a requirement if you have a Drahthaar whelped prior to October 1st of last year and hope to continue on to the breed test this fall (HZP).
Thanks to Shane and all who made this possible
We'd like to thank Shane Deford and all the members who coordinated to make this test happen. There were a lot of phone calls and emails necessary between GLC and GNA and VDD in Germany to arrive at a solution for our puppies this year. Many people's lives have been effected and complicated by the pandemic and we appreciate everyone who worked through those challenges.
What about the HZP?
We'd also like to remind everyone that the fall HZP tests are filling up quickly. If you own a dog who needs to enter the fall breed test, we encourage everyone to look at the VDD GNA test calendar and start planning if you have not already. The Great Lakes Chapter is in talks to potentially hold an HZP here, but details are not final and there are no guarantees. So, get on that calendar and start planning. As soon as we have more information, we will be sure to update you.
